Meet Ian
I was born, brought up and have stayed in Exeter...I love living in the Southwest but equally love travelling both in the UK and Europe.
All of my family are still here, my parents are still in the house I grew up in and my son, his wife, my 3 grand children and great grandson are all local.
My interests include walking with my dog, mountain biking around Dartmoor, Wales, in Europe and I have ran a few half marathons around Exeter having not realised I liked running until my mid 40's. Unfortunately I've never broke the 1hr 30min barrier although I have ran 1hr 32 mins twice.
I also love riding my Harley.
My working life started off in the motor trade as trainee mechanic, which I didn't really like, but on the upside, I met some good life long friends. I then went into installing and servicing burglar alarms for a few years.
I then spent over 20 years managing a shop for a local carpet business where Steve and I met. I joined Steve at a local taxi firm but after a few years we decided we would like to focus more on the long distance trips. This includes air and sea port transfers - allowing passengers to relax and enjoy their holidays from the moment they leave their door, business trips - allowing CEOs and management to work in the back of the car while we take care of getting them to their destination, and we supply transport for weddings and proms.
We aim to supply a high quality service so that passenger's needs are always taken care of.
Meet Steve
I was born in Doncaster, South Yorkshire, but was brought up on the Isle of Wight. I have always been a big sports fan and would take part in anything going, but my passion was rugby, and represented the Isle of Wight at county level as a schoolboy. Having lived in Exeter for over 28 years an now an avid supporter of Exeter Chiefs, and enjoy watching them live at Sandy Park whenever I can.
My early working career started in the hospitality trade, mainly managing hotels and leisure facilities, hence the high standards of customer service. I moved to Exeter at the age of 29 to assist in the day to day management of the local Tenpin bowling centre. After a few years I decided on a career change and started in retail, working for a local family run carpet business, which is where I worked alongside Ian for 13 years.
My main role was that of measurer and estimator, travelling to customers houses to assess their needs, quite often being the 1st point of contact, so again customer service and a good 1st impression was essential.
It was from there that I then joined the local taxi company, and after 4 years we decided that we should set up our own business, supplying the Southwest with the type of high quality service they deserve.
One of the best things about what we do is having the ability to adapt to every client's needs, whether it be an elderly person needing a bit of TLC and extra support, or a CEO who just needs everything to be spot on and professional, or customers who want a chat and an enjoyable experience to start their holiday.
